EVELYN JANE BOUTIQUE opened its doors IN DOWNERS GROVE.

Local DG resident & owner of EJB, Amy Brown, had a very clear vision of what she wanted her dream shop to look like in 2013. After over twenty years with specialty chain retailer, Crate&Barrel, Amy took a giant leap of faith and turned her love for more unique, artisan goods & a passion for merchandising into her own brick and mortar shop right in the heart of downtown DG.

We take great pride in sourcing new products for Evelyn Jane. While we do stock a few noteworthy national brands, our unique and independent accessory and jewelry lines are the heartbeat of the shop. We love to work directly with jewelry designers to curate collections that work beautifully with our product assortment. Over the past 10 years, we have cultivated solid relationships with our designers and built a reputation for unique pieces that are of-the-moment, affordable, and stand the test of time.

We expanded the business in 2019 and opened a baby boutique across the street. Right in the hub of downtown Downers Grove, Sweet Jane is your destination for modern, quirky, premium quality baby clothes, accessories and home decor.

At Evelyn Jane, we believe the shopping magic happens within the walls of our brick and mortar and not online. If you aren’t able to shop in our physical space, don’t worry! You have options - whether you are shopping for an impeccable gift or treating yourself to something new. We love sharing our favorites with you in any way that we can!

  • If you live out of town but need a gift for someone who loves Evelyn Jane, give us a call. We can help curate the perfect gift for your lucky recipient with products from our stores.

  • Set up a private shopping appointment at one of our physical locations. Appointments available weekday evenings and Sundays, based on availability.

  • Call either of our locations, Evelyn Jane or Sweet Jane, during business hours and we can set up an ideal time for someone on our sales team to get in touch with you and get started.

Evelyn Jane has always been a fan of supporting other women-owned businesses. When the space next door opened up, we jumped at the chance to partner with fellow entrepreneur, Jennifer, and her brand, The Paper Peony. Jennifer’s maker studio and gift boutique is adjacent to Evelyn Jane, and when both shops are open, customers can meander between the stores for a shopping experience like no other. If you’re lucky, you might catch Jennifer pouring some of her celebrated candles, and you can shop the entire collection in house. We believe that our brands complement each other and love the synergy that our space creates.
